Ahhhh dads: our heroes, the first man in our life and the most important one. I don't know about you, but I always find it much more difficult to choose a gift for my father than for my mother. What does he even need! After years of buying him Canadian Tire gift cards, I made my own little list of things I am 100% sure he would enjoy! I know it's not all about the gifts.. but a little something is always appreciated (Oh I know he loves my gift cards haha!)
Few months ago, my dad found a picture of my dad when he was young, playing hockey with his younger brother and he sent it to me. He was so happy about it and you could definitely tell he loved that picture. Dads are usually not the pro of deco, so I though it would be amazing for him to be able to see this picture in a frame at home! A childhood picture, a random souvenir or even a selfie you took with your dad: Any picture that reminds you of a good moment and you know your dad will put proudly on his desk works!
Crafty and delicious
For beer amateur, you can decide to get him couple of cans that you think he would like but I have better: Beer date! Go to the local brewery (the one opens at the moment of course) and have a fun date with your dad. Most places have games and there is nothing better than having fun with our loved ones! Creating memories has no price.
If your dad is a true woodman, look no further. Book the day off and go for a day in the nature. I repeat: Creating memories has no price. Go for a hike or a bike ride, take the fishing rods and go fish somewhere (Can also be combine with the beer, isn't that perfect!) Father's Day is only for a day, but nobody said you can't enjoy the whole weekend with your dad.
